Harvest of Hope Thanksgiving Meal Drive
Harvest of Hope is a Thanksgiving outreach program of the Dewey R. Stokes Capital City Lodge #9 and the FOP Foundation, created by a local civilian, to help families in need experience the warmth, comfort, and joy of Thanksgiving.
Through the generosity of our members, community partners, and supporters, Harvest of Hope provides families with a complete Thanksgiving meal to prepare and enjoy together in the comfort of their own home. Our goal is more than simply providing food—we want to help families create meaningful memories around the dinner table and remind them that their community cares.
What began as a small effort has grown into a program that has helped hundreds of families throughout Central Ohio.
We are grateful to everyone who donates, volunteers, sponsors, and helps spread the word about Harvest of Hope. Because of your support, families who may otherwise struggle during the holiday season can sit down together and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
Harvest of Hope is about more than a meal. It’s about family, community, and making sure no one feels forgotten during the holidays.
We are currently accepting donations for our 2026 Harvest of Hope Thanksgiving Meal Drive!
Thanks to the generosity of our members, community partners, and supporters, we are able to provide complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout Central Ohio. Every donation, big or small, helps us make Thanksgiving a little brighter for a local family.
Donations will be accepted through Friday, November 20, 2026.
🛒 ITEMS NEEDED NOW
We are currently in immediate need of:
• Boxed stuffing
• Instant potatoes
• Canned or jarred gravy
• Canned vegetables
• Large disposable roasting pans
• Aluminum foil
• Non-refrigerated juice or drinks
• Plastic cutlery
• Plates
• Napkins
🥧 ITEMS NEEDED CLOSER TO THANKSGIVING
As we get closer to Thanksgiving, we will also need:
• Dinner rolls
• Pies
• Butter

Donations of canned goods, food items, and other supplies can be dropped off at the FOP Office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

APPLICANTS
Families living in Franklin County are invited to apply for a Thanksgiving meal by completing this form. Every request is handled with care, compassion, and confidentiality.
Our goal is to provide more than just a turkey, we provide a complete Thanksgiving meal with everything you need to prepare a traditional holiday dinner in the comfort of your own home and share it with the people you love.
This application is not a guarantee of acceptance, you will receive an email from our Team Lead if your application has been accepted.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals, pack boxes and load cars on Saturday November 21st from 9am-3pm.
